Note from Stephen Wu (Form 7, Class 1974)

Being the class monitor in my secondary school era, and having the privilege of serving as one of the editors of “Ripples” (the school newspaper) and School Magazine in Form 6, I was fortunate with the opportunity in meeting our beloved Principal in group and in person.

Though that was quite 40 years ago, your patience and guidance in our tender young days are still in my fond memories.  Apparently you being solemn and distant in the first sight, I was quickly moved and inspired by a principal of ideals and actions, an educator of care and concerns, a gentleman of discipline and scholarship, and a historian of knowledge and wisdom, and thus my heartfelt thanks for the quality pedagogy and stimulating schooling during my formative years in Raimondi College.  A Raimondian, we have been proud of and our alma mater in developing generations of graduates contributing to societies, locally or elsewhere, in one way or another, and here we sense and appreciate the power of education, and most importantly you sowed the seed with vision and mission.

"... And when we leave thy portals fair, At the parting of the ways, The mem'ry of our years with thee, we'll count among the best ..."  The school hymn resonates, with lovely memories of the school through you, and also of you.

We express our condolences, and pray for your repose in eternal peace in God's Hand.
